About Rebecca

Rebecca graduated from university in 2005 and has since worked in education in a variety of settings in both Australia and the U.K. Throughout her 15+ years of teaching, Rebecca has developed a strong passion for teaching younger children with additional needs, delays or disabilities. This lead her to seek more knowledge and professional development in the disabilities area and eventually Rebecca’s expertise and passion lead her to her role in early intervention. Rebecca is registered with the Queensland College of Teachers and her best practice is informed by her ongoing learning that she seeks to improve the services that she provides.

Rebecca is passionate about providing opportunities and experiences that support each child’s learning and development so that they are able to meaningfully experience and participate in their everyday life.

Rebecca is especially interested in making sure children are equipped with the skills needed to be successful in school entry. She also has a keen interest in strengthening inclusivity in educational settings including aiding in successful transitions.

Rebecca lives with her husband and 3 children on the Sunshine Coast and provides supports locally and within the surrounding areas.
